Drawing: Drawing independently and in a group 10/11/16 {2}

Today we met our new tutor called David, he has a masters degree in Fine Art and he taught todays lesson. Our first task in the morning was to copy our sketches we did from the Childhood and Hunterian Museum and draw them again using charcoal and indian ink on A1 sized paper. My first drawing was of a skull which I really love the outcome of because I like the different tones you can see from using charcoal. My second drawing was of a pair of leaves and I used indian ink and charcoal for shading;  I like the outcome but it could be better if I had more time to finish it.

The second half of the lesson was very exciting. Our task for this lesson was to collaborate with my classmates to create a wallpaper sized drawing. The first paper we used had to only be black and white drawings and the second we were allowed to use colour. I really like both the outcomes we created and I had fun socialising and planning with my classmates.
